Wow!

And the pid seems to say that opera has been running for a long time and firefox is a recently started process.(Or system forked more than pid_max)

Yes, that’s true, I restarted firefox in order to update from 3.5.7 to 3.6

Opera Software ASA should learn and provide extensions right now…

yes, right :)

heh… and I was considering leaving Opera for Firefox. no way. :D

I am using both of them, and yesterday I installed as well Chrome just to have it for Gmail and GReader. It seems that Chrome is faster with their G services, which is obvious :)

On the same time on the static page/site Firefox 3.5.7 (I did not upgraded to 3.6) is showing 0% CPU usage, while Opera 10.10 is eating all the time 5-10% CPU – so me who used only Opera before started to use both of them now and give a preference to Firefox while working on battery :-)

Opera just plane sucks I downloaded it and tried loading a few pages and I could not believe how poorly it displayed images and how slow it was . I have always loved Firefox and hated IE but would choose IE over opera any day.
