More space on Vista
I realized that in every day more free space from hard disk disappear. I have installed Vista on computer. Trying to find the solution, I found some nice articles about this subject: first article, second article. I decided to let system restore turned on and to shrink the space necessary for this feature. So, here are the commands:
vssadmin List ShadowStorage
vssadmin Resize ShadowStorage /On=C: /For=C: /MaxSize=6GB
first command let you see how space you have default allocated by windows and with the second one you set the maximum space to 6 GB.
If you want to learn more about, I recommend to read the articles from previous links.

I am having a problem with reclaiming the disk space i lost to vss. i put the command in correctly and changed it to max size 10GB. I cant seem to delete the old restore files even when i do it through disk clean up.
